NSW CPD 2024/25 - Online (10 Hours)

10hr Online Compulsory CPD  for Class 1 & Class 2  Agents.

This year's CPD is fillled with very important topics as set by NSW Fair Trading. This years topics include:
 

  • New Supervision Guidelines for Residential, Commercial, Stock & Station and Short Term Accommodation agents
  • Introduction to WHS for Residential, Commercial, Stock & Station and Short Term Accommodation agents
  • Compliance with 'Habitability Standards'
  • Introduction to Strata for Residential, Commercial, Stock & Station and Short Term Accommodation agents
  • The new Strata Reforms 2023/24
  • Privacy, Proof of ID, Cyber Security, Fraud Prevention and Data Collection
  • Advertising and Marketing - responsibilities under the Australian Consumer Law
  • Authority to bid and exchange contracts 

All students will be required to complete an assessment as part of the training and upon successful completion will be issued with a Certificate of Satisfactory completion.  A copy of your CPD certificate will be retained in your Student portal should you need to retrieve this at anytime. 

This CPD will cover any of the below agents:

  • Residential Property Manager
  • Commercial Agents
  • Short Term Accommodation Agents 

NSW Fair Trading require extra training to meet the CPD requirements for the below agents:

  • Residential Sales Agent (including Buyers Agents & Auctioneers)
    • Required to complete 1 extra unit which is an online component on Underquoting that can only be done via TAFE. Click here for extra component to this years CPD. 
  • Strata Managing Agents
    • Required to complete 1 extra unit on Best Practice Management of building defects, maintenance & repair
  • Stock & Station Agents
    • Required to complete 2 extra units on Mandatory implementation of eID in sheep and farmed goats as well as Animal welfare best practice in saleyards. Click here to book in for the extra 2 hour online session. 
  • Business Broking Agents
    • Required to complete 3 extra units of Methods of Appraisal, Appropriate normalisations and adjustments as well as Agency agreement and your authority to act.
